Dear Community,
I am working on an email form (Kontakt - Seestrasse16 2021 1-0 (baltic-sails.com)) for a client website and would like to include data that was submitted in the form in the conformation email and the email sent to the site owner.
I thought of using the <name> attribute in the mail pane for that. But I don't seem to get it to work for this purpose. What do I need to do in order to achieve this?
Example:
Form-->
Name: Don
Last Name: Levene
Email: ***
Topic: My pool is gone
Message:blaaa....
Message confirmation:
Adress: ***
Topic: <topic from form>
Message: <Message from form>
Looking forward to your reply.
Cheers,
Yannic

Yannik,
You can easily add your self information by using the text area.
I assume you are talking about the contact form object?
That would be the most usefull object for this.

Hi Andre,
Yes, that I have done. If you were to add any field and go to the "options" tab, there is a <name> option.
I was wondering whether I could use this to filter data entered into the response mail.
Thanks for your contribution,
Yannic
The help say's this:
▪<name> attribute: this gives the value for the field's <name> attribute when the HTML code for the contact form is generated This option is useful when, for example, Send data to a file is set as the Data submission method (see Contact Form Object | Send).
It is used to give extra info when sending that is used in the background, nothing a customer sees.

Thanks Andre.
Do you or anyone else know if it is possible to use a field from the email form as the topic of the notification email?
That is what I want to do.
Cheers,
Yannic
Do you mean subject: fill it in in the SEND TAB
do you mean a text above or with the object? -> use style button when selected the object in step4 (on top) -> Text TAB.
If you mean something else please elaborate...
thx
