Hello friends,
I have a question. One could add a box "on request" to the availability of goods. The point is that there are some products that are made to order and it is not possible to have them in stock. The availability of goods on request in this case would allow the customer to make a request for that product. I will give an example: The customer will order a bottle with engraved text. Today it is no longer in stock at the supplier tomorrow and delivery would be needed for another month .. if this option is the customer I can contact and discuss possible alternatives

You could place the "on request" notice on the product description: have you already tried this?

I definitely didn't try that. However, I don't think it has exactly the same exact thing as a possible addition to the availability. As you probably know (I hope) 99% of shoppers do not read and shop according to a picture or review.
As I wrote, it would be a good feature if there was an on-demand with the option to open a contact form, for example. However, I understand that it will probably be a big intervention in the program as such ..
