Why a "-" is displayed into my list with a form ?

I have configured a list for my form like this:
with the displaying I have a "-" on the top of the list !
Why ?
Into pure HTML a list is like this

Technically, that first option should be the empty default option, positioned there as to indicate that a choice must be made rather than making an automatic choice of the first element avaiable
If you make that field mandatory, it should stop you from sending the form if no option is selected
Double-check this for me and keep me posted here

In this case replace the "-" by a message like "Choose an option" or "Choose into the list" ...it will be clearer
No need to test a mandatory list...
