I have set the viewer up on a separate page and it is now working. However the PDF that I am using has a white background but when uploaded to the view the background goes to black and you cannot read the product information with any clarity. I guess this is an issue with the object and if so I will be asking Incomedia for my credits back becasue the object is unusable.

The problem with your PDF is that they usually have a transparent background, although Adobe REader always creates a white background, Catalog Viewer creates a black background. You have to add a background to the PDF so that the other one doesn't show through.

Thanks for this. The problem is that I did not create the PDF. Surely if this is a known issue a waring should be given under the info section so that anyone wanting to buy this object is aware of the issue

I would not consider this an issue but simply the way the Object works. Normally, it is expected that if a background color does not match the PDF color, the PDF owner would be able to change it accordingly
