Happy New Year folks.
Thank you for previous help, I'm now able to preview, which is grand as I want to change from orange in the header and footer to grey.
I've changed everything I can find to show as grey, but still there's a big orange segment that I can't get rid of. The Header and the Header Background are both grey on the Template page, and on the preview it's grey and the edges, but the middle area of the header is still orange. The menu bar background is grey.
I've driven myself nuts going in and out of everything but cannot see why or where the middle bit has been told to be orange.
In case it's relevant I imported this project from an earlier version of X5.

Carolyn, it may be easier if you provide a screen shot of what you have, but have you been to step 2, template structure?
Here you can specify different colours or even image content in each section of the template, note also that these settings can be set for individual resolutions. This means that if you have something in your header (or footer), you need to visit each resolution to check.
This problem is most common when a project has been upgraded from an older version of WX5

Thank you.
I've been through all the different resolutions and taken out all references to the orange, though I may well have missed something though. I'll try again tomorrow and revert.

Have checked all resolutions. No orange anywhere, but it's still showing on the preview.

Sorry, forgot to add the screenprint.
Happy New Year! I am assuming you have stuck cache from old information. Try holding down the STRL button before clicking the view with the mouse. Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Dmitriy
STRL should be read as CTRL, I think.
Pressing the control key while clicking preview will make a new build.
If it is for the server then browser can be refreshed by a F5 or maybe better Ctrl+F5.
Yes, that's right it was a typo. If this does not help, you need to check not only in the "Page header", but also in the "Page header background". In the Image File section, right-click and select Delete. As shown in my picture below.
Carolyn, if the colour or image is not set in template structure, have a look at template content. There could be an image in there, when upgrading from older versions WX5 converted most things to images (any text content on the header or footer as well as menus and even background colours became an image).
Open template content and scroll around to look for any evidence of an image lurking in there.

Thank you all! Sleepy now so will try those in the morning. Will let you know how it goes.

Thank you. It was an 'image', which I found in Template Structure under the Heading box.
Now just one other thing to fix and I'm good
