I received this email from the hosting company. Please advice what to do:

Please pay attention to the following information regarding the website shbn.nl. If necessary, please forward this e-mail to your webmaster.

The given website uses for it´s operation a very old and unsupported PHP version 7.0.9. This version will be due to security and operational reasons removed form our servers.

We recommend that you set up a newer version of PHP in your web.config file according to out F.A.Q. Ideally, you should use the most up-to-date PHP 8.0.12. Do so latest until 26.4.2022. Changing PHP may require interaction with the web presentation code to keep the page running smoothly. Therefore do not postpone the editing.

Our customer support can also help you with the setup.

Modern web applications such as WordPress work smoothly on new versions of PHP and switching normally does not cause any functional change. However, if you are running an old app, you may need the developer's intervention.

If the site remains on an old version 7.0.9, it will be automatically switched to the date 26.4.2022 to the new PHP 8.0.12. Because this change may affect the functionality of your web presentation, please be aware of the timely testing and editing of your web application . After switching, PHP will be able to revert back but only temporarily.

Thank you for your cooperation.

For further information, please contact our customer support.

Hello Miche.
The WebSite X5 builder supports PHP 8.0.
If after updating the PHP version on your hosting your site will experience problems, just write to the support service so that they switch your hosting to another version, for example 7.4
It is unlikely that your provider will use only one, the maximum version.

Hi!

Unfortunately, version 2019.3 still wasn't compatible with PHP 8.0. You should then please consider switching to version 2021.5 of WebSite X5 which you can access here:

Thanks! Kind regards.
