Hello Rene,
Can it be that your firewall is updated and blocks connection? please check or try once without firewall/ virus software or give x5 acces in the software.
Can it also be a problem at your hosting company, check with them or try again later.

Hi Andre,
Thanks for you answer;)
I already added it to my Firewall, and disabled my Kaspersky and still get the same error ,it always worked and suddenly does not work anymore but only from within the Incomedia Software, today it worked with Filezilla but i upoaded it to the wrong Directory with,(if i dive in to it i should be able to get this done with Filezilla or Core FTP LE but it would be great and easiest if it will work again from within the Incomedia software.
My hosting provider works with Direct Admin by the way.
If you have any suggestions i would be glad to hear them from you ;)
Thanks again for your answer!
Have a nice evening!
Kind regards,

It's strange that it say's no protocol, did somethng happen on your pc, moved some files or drive's?
You could try to start x5 as admin (left mouse butto on x5 icon), else download from here (top right next to your name pulldown) the latest version and install. maybe this recovers missing item.

Hi,
Thanks for you answer, nothing happened to my pc, the software suddenly came with this error.
i will try as an admin, but i do not think it will work, because i already have admin rights.
when i download the latest version i have to pay for the license, correct?
it just should work?
what about a reinstall of the version i have?
kind regards,
René Veldman.
Hello Rene
Judging by the error description and by the fact that you apparently didn't change anything in the software, I doubt the issue is coming from your side
It would be good if you could contact your hosting provider and ask them to check their connection logs to see what error is appearing when you try to connect via WebSite X5
Maybe they changed connection protocol to something that the older version of WebSite X5 doesn't support. In any case, we need their opinion on this first
Please contact them and ask what I mentioned. Let me know how they respond
Thank you
Stefano

Hallo Rene
Laat me weten hoe ze reageren
Dank je
Stefano
