Windows 11 update blocks Website X5 operation

Good Morning,
After the latest Windows update (the day before yesterday) I can't copy/paste elements from the page I'm working on, and this has never happened before. Website hangs, I can't close it even from Windows Task Manager and I have to restart my computer all the time.
The previous Windows update also gave me some problems but it was solved by the automatic Website updates and it certainly didn't last that long.
Does anyone know what can I do?
Thank you!

I am using Win11 21H2 (22000.856) and have not encountered the issues you describe.
Have you tried disk clean-up etc? Also, are your documents stored locally, or on OneDrive (which I know MS is pushing, despite that it can cause some app issues)?
Please provide us with any steps you have tried to resolve the issue.
Another thing to try is reinstalling WebsiteX5. Worse-case; you may need to reset windows (I prefer clean-install from Windows Installation Media). But, be sure to backup your important files!
Good luck.

Thanks for answering,
my files are saved locally, I always work this way, I haven't made any changes online.
My version of Windows 11 Insider is the one that appears in the attached image.
I used the windows disk cleanup tool, I use it when there is a major update.
My PC is an HP Laptop with 16gb of ram and intel i5 7th generation.
The previous update caused me slight problems but thankfully they solved themselves with the latest Website X5 update which is configured to work when opening the program
Can we assume you have done a restart (not just turn off/on) to ensure the windows update is complete? If so I recommend downloading the latest version of WX5 from your profile and re-installing to ensure nothing in the Windows update damaged your WX5 installation. I also recommend you test with any 3rd party av/malware/firewall/vpn turned off or disabled.
Hello. I am also using Windows 11 21H2 (22000.856). Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.856.0. But I don't have that problem.
I recommend that you make sure that there are as few empty cells as possible on the page. Fill in all cells that you do not need, for example, with the Text object.
I wish I could replicate the situation, but I removed Win11 on the VM when updates stopped for non-TPM 2.0 devices. And, I’m not going to enrol devices-of-significance to the Windows BETA program. Sorry.
BETA testing becomes involving when problems like this occur.
Check the MS release notes for your current build. Perform all of the steps suggested in this thread. And if (finally) resetting/reinstalling Windows does not resolve the issue, please provide feedback to MS detailing your problem, including all of the steps you have taken. This will help MS dev team, and everyone who might experience issues with this update if it goes undetected.
Thank you.

I have changed my computer. The windows I use now is 11 on an HP i7 laptop with 16 Gb of RAM recently installed and updated, I no longer use the Inside preview version.
I don't have empty rows or columns on the page I'm working on but every time I copy/paste an element (image or text with and without formatting) the program hangs. After verifying that it is still the same, I have removed and uninstalled all versions of c++, following a thread from the 2015 helpcenter, but I still cannot work with the previous projects.
Also the same thing happens to me when creating a blank project. I have to restart the computer because Website no longer reopens after closing in task manager (which is the only way to close it).
I hope you can help me because my pages can't be refreshed and this new computer keeps crashing when copying/pasting items.
In the task manager, inside Website, several windows appear saying cefSharp.BrowserSubPorcesss even though I haven't opened the preview with the internal Website browser.
Thank you
I'm just about to retire for the night. But, I thought that you should read this: https://www.minitool.com/news/cefsharp-browsersubprocess.html
I will come back to this thread in the morning. Please leave your thoughts after reading.
Good night.
P. Sanz González, you are working locally (not network or external drive)?
Can you verify that you are not working from one drive or a folder synchronised by one drive or similar?

Thanks for answers,
Yes, I'm working locally (not network or external drive connected). I'm investigating the reading at https://www.minitool.com/news/cefsharp-browsersubprocess.html
but unfortunatelly I don't undestand very well this content.
Attached I provide the Task Manager notification after crash (every time I made a Copy/Paste).
Thank You
If cefsharp is provided by WX5, then you probably shouldn’t delete it (1 suggestion from the link I gave).
Something else is probably going on P.
Hello Gonzales
I can confirm that at the moment the software is officially fully compatible with Windows 11, so I doubt that the issue is related to the system version itself.
Additionally, I can confirm that no such situation has currently been reported by any other users, so I find it extremely weird that you're getting this on two different computers with different projects as well.
You mention that the Objects you copy are special in no way but I would like to verify this further with you.
If possible, could you record and share here via https://wetransfer.com/ a short video that shows everything from opening up the software to starting up a new project and copying whatever object up to the point where the program hangs?
I believe this might eventually help us shed some light on the matter by seeing exactly what is going on
I remain available here
