Good morning Terence!

If you don't wish to add it with a link you can add it by using the HTML and widget object and selecting the ''PDF File'' widget.

Hi Mack, I'm sorry but I am not able to access the link you gave me, the connection to it isn't reliable.
How did you add your pdf file? With the widget object as suggested above? Where did you add it?

followed the suggestion by adding it using the pdf widget and adding the url to the .pdf file contained within my website: bartowpost0003.com/public_html/post3_officers_2012.pdf

The selection is under the main menu. Post3

                                                                      . Officers

I have been working on the site and it is up and down.  My idea is to either use Google Docs, or have a .pdf file locally that can be ftp'd by my client replacing file(s) on the site.  That way, I set their ftp up once directing it to include the pc local files that were changed and send them to the site.  If I can use Google Docs, it would change immediately like Google Calendar does.  But so far, no success with either but Google Calendar as I have mentioned above.

Thanks for any help,

Yes basicly, One appointee at the American Legion takes care of the Calendar (we use Google Calendar) and whenever he makes changes, it is instantly changed on the website.  Would like to do the same thing with Google Docs but, so far have been unsuccessful.  Tried the PDF thingy but it too does not work.  If I can get this working, it will serve as a CMS for them.  One person as I have mentioned above will have access to change content at will.  Great idea since I do not intend on turning over my other license to them and then try to teach them to learn Website X.  Everthing I do for them is free and I would rather be fishing and playing Golf in my retirement.  They are getting to a point where they are depending on their web to get information out to the public and members in general.  Looking in to doing local advertisements on the site and charging the vendors for it.....more work.

Thanks for any help.  I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

I guess the path in ftp is sort of misleading huh?  will use the one you indicated and see what happens.  If it works, wallah, they will now have cms.

Thanks for your help.

Much appreciated

Well, partially cms for me.  .pdf files do not line up in the frame display.  Will have to do more reading/researching.  This problem is probably due to my lack of web work.

Thanks for the suggestion, path worked ok but do not understand ftp showing one thing and didn't work but the path you suggested did.

thanks again,

Mack
