Copy Paste from Word problem

I use X5 evolution 9 and very often copy extracts from MS Word documents in french. For groups of words between brackets (french type like « Ces Enfants ») pasted in text areas of Website X5 the first word is NOT pasted (result is « Enfants » ). This is not always the case, but it very often is. I did try pasting in other softwares, it is only in WebsiteX5. Who could explain ?

Same problem here since version 8 and now with version 9
My solution was to copy first to a .txt document an then copy to incomedia the incovenient with this is that I lost all my format in the document: bolds, sizes, italic etc. this is far from ideal since it takes more time

you are having this issue because the program you are copying the text from doesn't probably have real rtf in it. In fact, as Javier was pointing out, if he uses a .txt document it works ok. Please paste the text from programs like word, not other similar programs that have their own rtf with special characters, or form text documents.
