I try to stream a video from my TV-IP110WN (version 2.0R) camera. The video object does not work with the URL I provide. The URL does work from outside ie directly into the browser.

HowTo?

You have to convert your camera's video to a windows movie format & optimize it for the web!!

Visit my Cafe below for putting video & sound in X5 webpages:

Sorry Hans I miss-understood.... Just looked at the Camera model!

You should have said it was a "Security Camera".... I have set up weather cams for X5ers and IP Cameras..... For streaming on the site.

I take it you know nothing of HTML?? I would need to look at your website and any information relevant to the camera regarding installation (The outside URL)..... If you can provide this I would be happy to help.....

Thanks @Cheeky Man for the answer but I found the solution which I share below.

  1. I configured the router and the camera to be accessed from the outside world. This can be easily done, info provided by TrendNet. I use Dynamic DNS.
  2. I took the camera page where to see the live video (jpgview.html for my TrendNet camera).
  3. I looked at the source and took the script part which does the viewing.
  4. I created a HTML object on the website I needed and pasted the code in the body where I needed it.
  5. I entered my dynamic DNS name for the camera in the code.

That's all.
It works OK.

Hope others have any use of this.
