I have an existing website on my own server and would like to import that website to X5 in order to manage it into the future.  Is this possible?

As you have an existing site with all images and text will make things easier.

As creating a "normal" site with X5 is rather quick, you should create a test project where you can find the structure for the site and where you can test some pages. Test in different views.

When you know the structure of your site, you are familiar with the X5 and you have texts and images ready - then a simple site with about 20 pages can be created in a couple of hours.

Hi Brian,

unfortunately,  it is not possible to recover the files on the server to recreate the project. To be able to recover the project, you need either the backup iwzip file (the one that can be generated in Step 5 with the "Export the project" option) or the entire project folder that is generated locally when creating and saving the project while working with the program.

Thanks! Kind regards.
