Lost all images in website X5 Evo

Hi there
I'm building anew website for fastonwater.co.uk. Everything was fine but now I have lost all my images in X5 Evo. This includes website header, footer, individual images and galleries.
Please advise

If the images are still available online on the Internet, copy them from there in the browser and paste them into WebSiteX5.
If the images are still on your hard drive, reinsert them from there.
Was there no backup copy via...

... created with the file extension .iwzip?
question, you only lost them in the preview or also in the references in the various project objects, i.e. the image name field is empty.

They are not in preview or in references but are all on my haard drive.
ok, if I understand, the references on the project as well as on the preview have disappeared because if they were there it would be enough to regenerate everything with CTRL+preview, at this point I think you will have to try with a backup

Hi Roy, honestly losing all the images of the entire project has never happened to me although I have been using it for several years. Sometimes it happened to me in a single object, sometimes on the preview which I then regenerated with CTRL+Preview, but never all images. Are you using the program as an administrator? Did you happen to leave empty cells on the page? Has the software crashed?

I've been using X5 since version 9 so quite a few years too. Never happened before but this is the second time in 3 months. I'm wondering if it's to do with Windows 10 updates.
ahhh! version 9 very old probably also for the S.O. of today. However the new versions are much more stable, I have them all on the PC since V13, I have deleted the other older ones.
version 9 is obsolete and out of support.
I recommend you convert the project to 11 and then to the latest version you have.
There will be a lot of work to do to fix it; especially with Header, Footer, Menu and Template, but it will be worth it.
Roy only said that he has been USING X5 since Version 9, not that he created the current site with it. His profile says he has Evo 2023, so I am assuming that it's being done with this version. Roy, can you confirm this? Otherwise suggestions may be made that aren't helpful for his issue.

Anyway it's not normal.
And there are no reports of similar problems from other users.
You definitely need more information, also with pictures, because words are not enough to understand...
1) Are the pictures on an internal computer disk or on an external disk?
2) Is it a folder synchronised with the cloud?
3) Do you put the images where you can see what appears both in the preview, and in the image or gallery objects ...
4) which version of website X5 are you referring to?

Yes, I'm using Evo 2023 with Windows 10. All folders are on internal hard disk and sychronised with the cloud (Microsoft 365). Images initially show up in gallery and image objects and show in preview, but when I return to them they are gone. It's a large website with hundreds of image files.
I would suspect an issue with the cloud synchronisation here. I don't use this myself, so someone with greater knowledge may be able to comment and help.
