you need to launch the program and install it again on your new computer then you need to import your project in it in order to start working on it again. Do you still have your project files? What version of the program are you using?

I don't remember project files but I have recorded the product code, order reference number, computer code and unlock code.... I exported the files to a memory stick every time I worked on the project - is this what you are referring to?

I'm using Evolution 8. The website that I'm working on iswww.corribconnect.ieand it is licensed to Aoife Collins (my name).

Could you please kindly give me your product code so that I may check your registration details? When you install on your second computer you need to launch the program and add your product code then register with the same email you used the first time and request a new unlock code.

You can download the latest version of your WebSite X5 Evolution 8 form the ''download'' section in the top right corner of this page.

If you have been working on your laptop and you have already started a project/website on that, you need to have your project file in order to open it and work on it again or else you will have to start a new one.

Yes of course, no problem!

You product code ''***'' is now registered correctly with your new email ''***''. If you look on the top right corner you will now be able to find various sections regarding your licence.

I have a similiar situation, except my original machine is still operating, I just got a new computer though and would like to move to that one. How do I get my project files? Is there a special tool for this? And does that include all the images I have uploaded, or do I need to get them seperatly?

Simply export your project (in Step 5 - 3rd option -optimize and batch to folder) from the program in your first computer and import it in your new (in Step 1). You need to make sure that both versions are up to date before starting this procedure.

Thank you for being so helpful. I have managed to download Website X5 Evolution 8 onto my computer. I also have saved my original website files onto this new computer. However, I can't seem to link up these files with the newly downloaded Website X5. WHen I go to 'Edit an existing presentation', there's a blank. The files are saved under My Documents. How do I link up the 2 please?

Please click on the small icon after the blanck space (the three dots). A new window will open. Here you need to go into your documents and select your project in order to open it correctly. PLease try and let me know!

A single licence give s you the chance to install your program on two different computers therefore please feel free to do so.

My computer stopped working and so I installed the programme onto a friend's computer as he said that he did not need it - he now wants the computer back.  Can I uninstall the programme on my friend's computer and put it on to my new computer?

I use webSite X5 and i got no 3rd option  in step 5. How do i down load  a site made with an other software? As far as i know it should work with any software.
