How can I set the cart preview page to show the postage options and prices as well as the cart contents so the customer can see the total price options before clicking the buy button and progressing the order?

The cart preview page usually shows everything in both Evo and Pro versions, see screenshot below

What version of WebSiteX5 is used?

Hi Daniel,

I'm using X5 Pro 2024.1.6.

I am rebuilding some of my old websites and would like to change the cart previews to something like this one shown in one of your templates but cannot find out how.

I use the templates provided and when I click "Add" on a product, the shopping cart appears on the screen like in my screenshot. Only at the very end do I see the shipping and payment display.

Well the live preview shows the cart view as shown but the template when used gives a cart view as you show.

I am trying to produce the cart view as shown in my screen shot - it works in the live preview of the template but I am trying to find out how it is achieved

I think I understand what is meant now. The shopping cart should have the same arrangement as the paid template “Sativas” (32 credits). Unfortunately I don't want to spend 32 credits on a test, but I suspect it was done with additional CSS code.

In WebSite X5 Pro 2024.1.6 under “Online Shop” there are these free templates ...

Sell&Buy

Special Prices

Tea Shop

Tech Shop

HummingBird Book

Design Boutique

Choco Shop

... with the same arrangement for the shopping cart.

Here the experts could look at which CSS and Javascript code should be installed where.

Or you can use the free templates and adapt the design.

Rejoiced too early - in the template preview the arrangement of the shopping cart is different than in the downloaded templates - Incomedia owes an explanation here.

It would be nice if someone could provide the code needed to give the result required - a number of templates, included those Incomedia are selling have the required code used in the previews but it is missing in the actual template they provide...

I looked at the paid templates on the Incomedia website and found one where the shopping cart you were looking for can be found and where you can also look at the source code, see

https://livepreview.incomedia.eu/x5t/v2019.3/bakencake/product-page.html (Click "Buy now")

Maybe the experts can find something that could be used for the other templates.

Incomedia employees are not expected to be online again until Monday during office hours in Italy. And perhaps they will reveal how to set the desired shopping cart view in WebSiteX5.

Unfortunatly you will find that the required code does not come with the paid for templates dispite the preview showing that it does...

I just noticed that the paid template "Sativas" says "Created with WebSite X5 Pro 2019.3", so the preview page shown in the Marketplace was probably created with this old version.

Incomedia may write on Monday (during office hours in Italy) whether this old shopping cart view can be adjusted in the current version or not.

Hello Mark,
unfortunately there was an overall change in the layout of the checkout, switching from the 'vertical' view you are referring to to the one currently appearing in v2023 and 2024.
This is why the live preview for templates such as Sativa, which was created in v2019, still show that style, but there are no settings in the software to switch from the current view to one similar to that in v2019.
