How do I change the size and color of the shopping cart icon  en

I was with a customer using our website made in WebSite x5 Pro.  They were on an Apple Computer and they were having trouble seeing the Shopping Cart Icon.  I could barely see it myself.  Is there a way to enlarge the Shopping Cart Icon and change the color from the light grey to, say, blue so that it is more obvious?

Best regards,

Kurt

Any graphic you want can be used for the shopping cart and placed in the header; the graphic will then be linked to the shopping cart address.

If the "Cart Status" object (12 Credits) is used, then the icon can be selected, see

Hi Daniel,

I don't seem to be able to find the access icon that opens the Cart Status window.

Best regards,

There are a lot of images for the shopping cart, e.g. at Pixabay, see link below

The images can be placed in the header in an image object in WebSiteX5, dragged to the desired size and then linked to the “Shopping cart and checkout” page, see screenshot below

Hi Daniel,

I used a shopping cart icon that I had previously aquired.  I placed it in the header and linked it to the shopping cart.  When I click on it in Preview it takes me to a page that confirms that I have no items in my shopping cart.  That seems correct.  However, the shopping carts in the catalogue did not change.  Is there an additional step that I need to do to accomplish that?

Thank you for all of your help,  so far.

Best regards,

Kurt

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your reply.  But what I really wanted was to enlarge and change the color of the shopping chart in the catalogue posts; the shopping cart is so small and so light colored people are not seeing it to click on to make a purchase.  So what I want is the shopping cart to appear larger and darker.  Below is how it currently displays in each product post

In my demo shop I have the default setting with a colored button. I wouldn't know how to place a shopping cart there either.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your response.  I assume that the red button on your site is part of the template you used?  I'm not sure where to go from here.  But many thanks for your effort to help me solve my problem.

Best regards,

Kurt

Now I have found the setting for this image. It can be found in the "Product Catalog" object in the "Settings" if you select the "Button" element and the "Image" type, see screenshots below

Also make changes to the settings in the sitemap.

Hi Daniel,

Apparently, in America the Website x5 Pro interface looks somewhat different than the German version.  But never-the-less, thanks to your pictures and your instructions, I was able to navigate around until I found the window that I needed.  Now I have bright blue shopping carts in all of my product listings.

Thank you so much.  Your efforts were critical to helping me understand what I needed to do, and now I am back on track.  I can't thank you enough!

Best regards,

Kurt
