What should be done with the websites if they are not to be uploaded to a server?

And from the other post: What is backup with the .xse extension needed for?

Maybe the moderators or Incomedia employees can say something about the wishes.

Is a server environment such as Xampp with PHP and database required for offline operation on the PC?

1. To be clear, I'm talking about not wanting to upload single webpages to the server. Not the entire website.

2. How to create an XSE backup copy so that it may be uploaded at a later time.

1. You can set the page as hidden. This will not prevent the page to be uploaded but it will not be part of the menu system, and the normal user will not see it. You could also make it as a protected page. Then it will not be possible for a user to see the page even if he know it is there.

For a page that you are making and that is not yet ready to be published, you have to put it as "under construction", so it will not load, although I believe that the images you are using on that page will load.

Logically, if the pages are already on your server, you will have to delete them manually.

Daniel W. Sometimes we need to publish a change to another page on our website, but if we are working on creating a new page, it will also be published, obviously, if we are still working on it, the correct thing to do is to tell the program that this page is "under construction" so only the changes in another section of the site will be published and the page that is under construction will not be included on the server.

Regards.
