I am using the PayPal Commerce Platform and it has been corrcetly connected
Any clues as to what is going wrong?

As far as I know, there are payment problems with Paypal when the website is used with or without www can be called.
If the web address without www is specified in WebSite X5 under “URL of the website”, then set up a redirect so that visitors always come to the web addresses without www.
I don't use PayPal myself, but perhaps PayPal users will get in touch and can confirm this.
Check in step 5 for export to have https://www.xxxxx
for your url

Yes it is showing as https://www.pelmate.co.uk in step 5
Hello,
inspecting the page during the purchase, an error 502 occurs for the process https://www.pelmate.co.uk/cart/ppcp.php?action=client-token
Could you provide me with a copy of the project so that I can check whether the error depends on the server by publishing it to my test hosting space?
You can export it in Step 5 - Export, choosing the “Export the project” option to generate an IWZIP file.
You can then upload the file with SwissTransfer, TransferNow or similar services, and provide a download link to support @ incomedia.eu (without the spaces).
Thank you.

I have sent project via Swiss transfer
Hello John,
I published the project as https://eric-c.websitex5.me/progetti/www.pelmate.co.uk and PayPal's options are visible here.
Please contact your hosting provider and have them investigate the error 502 so that they can find out more.
I remain available.

The responce
I was able to see the website indeed. Which means the server on our side where you use our hosting is working . But when it comes to the contents of the website I am afraid we are not allowed to configured on it. and as I replicate it this is issue is how the shop is being created where the redirection fails. Apologies as this is outside of my scope of expertise.

I now have it working, a bit extreme but needs must. I purcahsed a domain and hosting thru websiteX5 and it is all working as it should.
it would be nice to know why it did not work on the fasthosts platform?
Can any body tell me what scripting websiteX5 uses for the paypal intergration ?
Hi John, I'm having a similar problem with the same 502 error message. My provider suggested at the time that an outdated cURL version might be responsible. Maybe you can ask your provider for an update.
