You may want to consider reinstalling WebSite X5 if unusual behavior occurs.

For a new installation, click on the user name at the top right and select "My Profile", then download the WebSite X5 program under "Download" and under "License key" you will find this for the new installation.

Or wait for the Incomedia employees, maybe they will understand the problem and have a solution.

Thanks fot all your help but it doesn't work.

When I download an earlier version. 2026.1.9, and import an earlier backup, than everything is oke.

I can do anything and the preview is oke. No bugs. And export to internet is oke.

BUT when I download the latest version, 2026.2.2, and import the project. It goes wrong.

Pages are not good, empty. I can't to work at the pages and the preview is not good.

Mine opinion: I do several things, there is a bug in the latest version.

I am sorry about the issue.
There is likely a local factor affecting the situation on your PC or your project, as there were no changes to these aspects in v2026.2, nor a similar issue could be replicated.
I would recommend going ahead with a clean reinstall with the steps described below.
The folders to be deleted with these steps usually do not contain any projects, that by default are stored at C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Incomedia\WebSite X5 - Pro, but you can check their contents to make sure of this.

1) Uninstall the software normally, from the Windows panel.
2) Go to the path C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Incomedia and delete the folder corresponding to your version of the software (it should be WebSite X5 – Pro).
3) Go to the path C:\Program Files and, if it is present, delete the folder corresponding to your version of the software (it should be WebSite X5 – Pro)
4) Do the same at the path C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Programs, deleting the folder WebSite X5 – Pro if present.
5) Restart the PC.
6) With VPN (if you use one), antivirus and firewall temporarily disabled, run as admin the installer you can find here: https://www.websitex5.com/download/v2026.2/wsx5_pro.exe

Make sure that WebSite X5 is set as an exception for VPN/antivirus/firewall afterwards, so that it is possible to leave them active when using the software.

When you go to another tab and return to HOME, than everything is complete.

not necessarily: the extension is determined automatically depending on what is present in the page, so it might become .php.
I would recommend deleting both index.html and index.php and then exporting again choosing the option to export all files, this way you can make sure that only the correct version of the homepage will be visible.

You can delete them after accessing the contents of the hosting space in Step 5 - Export ---> Export website to the internet, by clicking the icon at the end of the field Destination Folder.

Ik zie geen verschil als ik van de homepage naar andere pagina ga, en weer naar de homepage. Homepage blijft hetzelfde. Ik zie wel dat de voettekst uit-beeld gaat op alle pagina's. Heb je zelf geprobeerd met een andere computer de website te bekijken, en te vergelijken? Of met een andere browser?
