Hi Jason!
Well, you could add an image/text to your project then add a link to it. Once this has been done, you simply add the pdf file to the link.
Hope this helps!

А где брать ссылку?
Actually the site that you have showed me above, has linked the pdf files to the page. He has created an image of the pdf file and added a link to it. By clicking on the image the pdf file opens.

I understand. You can add the HTML and widget object in your page then choose the pdf widget. You will have to upload your pdf file on your server then add its link to the widget. Please try then let me know if I can help you any futher.
Thanks!

Go to EXPORT at the end where it shows your server files and use the FTP Tool now supplied with Version 9!! (You can upload & download using this)

Hello Cheeky,
My question is related to above post.
I have a .pdf file embedded with widget provided in Website X5. The purpose of this widget is to embedd the file on a webpage. Right?
Now see: http://www.morbiceramicindustry.com/indian-ceramic-industry.html
It works file in Chrome browder. But in IE it asks used to eighter "download" or "open" the file and it opens in a seperate Acrobat Reader. Please help.
Also I really don't want anyone to "right click" on pages of PDF and and save the entire document on their desktop. Visitors should be able to only VIEW it and NOT DOWNLOAD it.
Please tell if there is any special script/option for this. thanks.
Hello Samantha / Cheeky Man,
Please help me for above problem. thank you.

Then I need to create a link ?
hello still waiting for help/
Sorry we don't get any notification of anyone posting.... It's crazy!!
You cannot just VIEW a PDF in any circumstances! It HAS to be downloaded first to be viewed!
So...... personally I wouldn't use the widget as not many users have ADOBE reader! I suggest offering the PDF as a download then insert a link to another PDF Reader!!
This way you will not have any future problems!!

I want to just upload as part of the site not muck around creating a link !!!!!!!!
If you want it to be part of the site with no link.... Turn the PDF into a book (SWF) or images for your visitors to view!!
