can projects created with Website x5 ver 10 be opened in earlier versions? Or can I save projects in older version format?

Hello Willy,
The answer to your questions is no on both counts. There is no backward compatibility in WebSite X5. Many of the V10 Objects and Widgets, etc do not exist in earlier versions, which is probably the main reason for the incompatibility.
