Rollback to a previous version

I posted this once before and still don't have an answer. I initially loaded Compact 9 v. 9.1.6.1952. Then the program said a new version was available and I uploaded and installed 9.1.10.1972, Now the problem. When I go to work on my site, and use the preview my header and footer are NOT on the preview and it cannot find most of my pics. (error message) Question was: The old version (1952) worked. Can I reinstall that old version over the new one and go back to where I was? I don't want to update my site if half the graphics are going to disappear. Claudio and Samantha have tried to help with this and i am now correctly in the system (key got me here) Old login (Chuck H.) will no longer be used. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hello John,
It is not possible to open the project with an older version once they have been opened with the last one.
About the images do you get the image generation error?
If yes check in the path shown in the error if the image is still present in it.

I have not opened the file in the newer version. When I did the preview and the header was missing, I did not publish because of the reason you stated. The path to the pix dropped part of the path. But, the header and the footer are still missing. Am I going to have to redo the whole thing?

Went back in an repositioned some of the pics and did a preview and it is still not picking up the header and footer. So I redid the header and footer then previewed again and it is still not picking them up?????????

Went in and started a new project. Designed a header and footer then did a preview and neither showedup....Now I am really confused.

The Project was opened in in the last update and it cannot be rolled back.
Please try to uninstall the program completely by also the installation folder in program files and then download the program from your answers.websitex5.com profile under "Downloads" and then start the installer with the rightclick as Administrator. Once installed start the installed program with the rightclick again as administrator and then check if the issue is still present.
The projects will not be lost if you uninstall the program.
Please keep me updated.

Found my original file. Reinstalled it. It worked fine. Would not open the project so I just redid the site. Now It works and I am back to normal. Thanks for all your help......
