Adapting shopping cart link

Hi
Ive put out a questionnaire for user of my prototype site,v9evolution. They were generally happy with the site. However,one complaint was if they want to buy several products they are jumping back and forth between pages as clicking on the car icon brings them straight to the checkout My ideal is that when they select a product they can stay on the page and have a message saying their product has been added to the cart. Isthere any way I can manage this or anything like this?. Thanks for any help

Yes joe, when you link your product put a check mark on "add the product without showing the cart"

The option to create the link to add the product in the cart without showing the cart is only present in the Professional 10.
