Google PageSpeed Insights test was with Evolution 8 for mobile 64 points for desktop 76 I have sent the same file to the support to convert it to Evolution 9 so I am able to import it on Evolution 10. Now....after getting the SAME page online Google PageSpeed is for mobile 43 and for desktop 53 ...Guys... using an upgrade of the software should help that such things work better so why is it now using Evolution 10 Speed of the page sooooo bad? That is going to hurt in google ranking as well.....
Why is that like this?

Hello Costa,
Can you please write me the link to your website to test it?
This is not going to change the google ranking. These are suggestions to make the pages load faster on all devices.
Many thanks!

Hi Claudio
www.real-estatecostarica.com
If you check with google PageSpeedInsights
http://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http://www.real-estatecostarica.com&tab=desktop
you will get 42/100 (for mobile) 52/100 (for desktop)
with the page I uploaded with Evolution 10.
If you check with one of the other languages I left online uploadet still with Evolution 8 you get 60/100 (for mobile) 76/100 (for desktop).
I did a speed check bevore uploading with Evolution 10 and after...that's how I realised the huge difference. The speed of a page is one of the points google considers together with many other details on how a page is going to rank.
Thanks for helping!
Costa
Hello Costa R.,
Thank you for the link. As I see from the results it suggests to use the browser caching for the images by removing the expires metatag you added so these will not be loaded all the time but used the cached ones if already visited.
The second one refers to enable the Gzip compression on the hosting server if this is present as option.
https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/EnableCompression
If you follow these 2 suggestion made by the test you will achieve a higer rank for insight.
In Version 10 the code has been changed and probably the pages have some kb more but this is done to give a higer compatibility to all devices, which was not present in Version 8.
I would suggest to check if you can enable the GZIP compression on the server and remove the expiring metatag or check if you can do this directly on the hosting server to include a longer expiring date in the HTTP headers so the pages will be loaded faster since the images are takien from the cache of the browser instead of beeing downloaded all the time you visit it.
Many thanks!
