Hello, When i try to import to my shopping cart the .xls for the products it gives me an error: An error occurred while importing the products: Invalid Header What should i do ?

Hello Jenny,
Verify to have saved the file as UTF-8 encoded csv file and where the fields are separated by a semicolon (;).

The inventory is sent to me by another company and they use columns , no semicolons or anything, so it keeps saying : header invalid.
Is there any way to make it compatible ? - its a .csv

Thank you Der. Exporting and re importing is great for the cart i created, but its a pain to do everything manually when someone sends you the list already updated , would be nice to be able to import it and have the update of the inventory done already.

I would suggest to add 2 products to your shopping cart, then export it and send that file to your client to use it as template, in that case you dont have to do anything, except importing it to shopping cart.
