Why don't you use the built-in shadow effect ?

Doubleclick the picture you wish to edit -> Edit -> Effects -> Drop shadow

Check the attached image for detailed instructions.

for using that you need to use html/widget object inside x5 and add your html code in the first tab, and add your css styling on the expert tab.
