I just bought WebSite X5 Evolution v10 and installed it on my work laptop running Windows 7. I started a project and saved it to my One Drive folder. I then installed the program on my home desktop (as I am allowed to do), which runs Windows 8.1. I tried to open the project saved in One Drive, but its icon looked odd and I got an error message (see attached picture) when I tried to open it. I then tried re-opening the project on the original Windows 7 laptop and it opened OK.

I next created a project on the Windows 8.1 desktop and saved this to the same One Drive folder. This opened again OK on both the Windows 7 laptop and the Windows 8.1 desktop. Is there some incompatibility creating in Windows 7 and tryng to open in Windows 8.1?

I also noticed the first time I ran WebSite on the Windows 8.1 desktop, some of the built in templates' menus did not display correctly. However, after rebooting I cannot replicate this fault.

Did you export your project in step 5?

That is the way to export, then you can import with import button in step project selection.

No, I simply used the save process to a location in the cloud, accessible from both computers. It would seem that not everything is saved to that location and some of the project information is kept locally (eg templates). I now understand why the import process searches for iwzip files, which are created in the export process, and not iwprj files.

Hopefully that will sort out my problem, but it's too late at night right now to try!
