Hi
I have Website X5 Evolution 8 installed on a Windows XP mahine. I am going to rebuild this machine to operate under the Linux Mint 17 (Cinnamon) platform. I also use a Windows 7 machine.
Three questions:
1. Will Website X5 Evolution 8 work under Linux?
2. Will Website X5 Evolution 8 work under Windows 7 X64 Pro?
3. Deinstalling Website X5 Evolution 8 from my XP machine is easy enough. But how do I ensure that I keep some sort of 'authorisation key' or some-such thing so that when I come to reinstall onto Linux and/or Windows 7 that it works well? It is years ago that I installed Website X5 Evolution 8, so I cannot remember how the key was constructed.
Thanks
Ross

Hello Ross,
WebSite X5 was designed and built to operate on a Windows system, however, you can try to use it on Linux thanks to applications such as VMWare or CrossOver on it.
The program will work on Windows 7 64bit.
The program once you install it on the new computer or operating system needs to be unlocked again to get the authoritation key and for this use the same email and password like during the first install.
It will show you the button to unlock and if you use the same data it will generate a new unlock code.
If you have difficulties write me the computer code which appears during the installation procedure so I can generate a new unlock code for you.
Many thanks!
