Uploading to the server  en

I created a page to upload a video to my server.  The video was 320mb in size.  I saw the errors of my ways and found another way to display the video, and deleted the orginal page.  However, when I do a full install, the upload is still trying to upload this file, even though I have deleted (what I think) are all references to it in my X5 project.

What do I need to do to remove this ghost from my project?

Mark

Mark,

Export your project in step 5.

Then import it again, this ussaly helps to clear old upload files.

Goodluck.

Two additional steps which I have found are sometimes necessary to completely purge the project of redundant files: 1.  Delete the contents of the 'Preview' and 'Upload' folders located in the Windows user 'Documents' folder under Incomedia/WebSite X5, etc.  (delete contents only, leaving folders intact) 2.  Hold down the 'CTRL' key whilst entering the 'Preview' mode in WebSite X5.  Allow sufficient time for the preview to build to completion as indicated by the progress bar in the bottom right of the screen Then export and re-import the project as Andre suggests. Hope this might be of some use. Kind regards, Paul
