Directing site to Https: SSL

I have purchased and installed a SSL cerificate. The site https://jpw.ca/ works fine as does http://jpw.ca/ . They instucted me that I needed to make a change in my wesite building software so that when visiter arrive a jpw.ca they are automatically directed to https://jpw.ca

The site was built using Professional 12.

Please advise the procedure.

Hello Paul,

There are various ways in which to accomplish this, but by far the most efficient (in terms of site overhead) is to use some lines in an .htaccess file on your server.

Please also be aware that what you are trying to do involves the use of custom code. It's not a native WebSite X5 feature.
