Good evening,
I just bought the "calendar" object but when I add an ICS file created by outlook or others applications, I don't see any appointment in the x5 object calendar, offline or online it's the same problem.
In attachment the ICS file in zip format.

Is the calendar page set to php ?
Check in step 2 properties -> expert tab see that the file name format is php.
It works only online, when the ics file is correct and it has a correct path on internet then it should work.
Autore
Andre,
Is not calendar using PHP but calendar using ICS provide by INCOMEDIA in object feature.
See in attachment copy screen of the object
the calendar needs both. did you check the php setting, was it correct?
Autore
Andre,
Where is explained the creation of a xx.php for calendar object ?
It's not explaind, normally this will be automaticly done. Just before further checking to see what's wrong it is the most important item to check. X5 normally asks you to set the calendar page to php or will automaticly do so. Also your host needs to be able to handle php.
please check the properties button when selecting the calender page in step2 in x5, goto expert tab and see that the pulldown menu is set to php.
If not then set it, upload and try again. else check if your host / the package you hire with them can handle php.
Let me know how it turns out.
THX.

Andre,
Problem is the same, no data in my calendar, PHP file is created and PHP is supported to my provider.
If you want I sent to you the iwzip file ?
If you wish I can take a look, maybe the website adress can help me to help you as well
(or maybe a test page webadres)
If the project is not to big you can send it by mail, use export project in step 5 function.
Autore
Andre,
I just build a very small site with Calendar page, you will see no data in the calendar.
The page is create in php and ics file is configured.
In attachment the iwzip file

Andre,
I forgot, you can reach the web site at:
http://www.ecurievaldor.be/2/calendar.php
Siron,
Everything looked good so I uploaded to my personal site:
http://andreweb.nl/siron/calendar.php
As you can see your project works with my hostingcompany without any problems ( I did not change anything)
Did you upload yours to a test page at your hosting and did it work there ? if yes then there might be a problem with used code in your project or in your project.....
If no, goto your admin panel (your test websiteadres with / admin behind it)
the login and pw is in step 4 , acces management.
does your php pass ? if not then check php with your host.
If yes, we need to look further ....
Hope this helps !!:)
BR André
See attachement for my admin test page of your project.
Autore
Andre, thank you very much for your investigation and find the root cause.
Effectively I do the test to another hosting and it works, the version of PHP is 5.1.6 so I will take contact with the hosting and ask a upgrate of PHP.
Autore
The problem was, on PHP hosting, the feature, php safe_mode = enable and must be disable.
Anyway in version 5.2 this feature doesn't exist any more and fix all problem to load php file.
Glad it worked out and that you found the Answer, Thanks for sharing !
I will remove your project in the meantime from my server.
Thanks !
