Word Wrap in Menus
Autore: Akram NajjarThis was raised earlier but there is a new angle to it. In v11, If I wrote "Music Club", X5 would wrap this phrase to show Music in one line and Club in the second (on the menus). When it did not work in v12, we raised the issue and it was resolved.
BUT and HOWEVER, I "think" v12 is now compressing the spaces which means even if we write "Music Club", it sees it as "Music Club" and does not force a break.\
OF COURSE: unless i have missed something, here are 2 suggestions:
Suggestion 1: please consider the spaces as hard spaces to give us leverage on forcing a word to go to the second line.
Suggestion 2: please allow us to insert a metacharacter (as they do in video subtitles) such as "\N" to force X5 12 to break the line into two.
Thanks
Akram
Hi Akram
I changed your topic into an "Idea" as this tag suits the nature of your post best.
This way it's easier for the Staff to keep track of it together with all the other suggestions.
Thank you for your feedback

Thanks . . .
Akran, if you wish to add multiple spaces, insert hard spaces. Hold down ALT and key in 255 between the words for each space you require. X5 deletes/ignores all but one normal space.
You may need a combination of ALT255's & normal space to force the break where you want it.

Dear Esahc
This is wonderful. If only I knew that before. It has solved the problem caused by v12 compacting spaces. Thanks a lot. Take a look: http://www.karazwlaimoon.com/
Thanks and happy new year.

Akram, your website menus look great - glad I could help.
Don't forget to mark my post as correct in case anyone else has this issue.

Dear Esahc
As the post was marked an "IDEA" by Stefano, there is no option to say it was "correct". But the result says it: it is CORRECT. Thanks again.
(Unless I am missing a button).
