Advertising Corner (Link not working)

Ok so when i put a link in the advertising corner, without clicking it ( Just hovering over ) it decides to open the picture link but not the website link, and it will not let me just have a web link it forces me to have a picture. Any clues ??

Hi Peter,
The advert option is mainly made for shops, so they have something new or a very good offer, in there collection, lika a nice skirt.
You set then a "new" or present balloon, if you hoover it you see the skirt, then if you click the skirt you will go to the webshop page with the skirt. Thats the Idea behind the advertising corner.
If you wish to have just a text to be revealed, then I would advice to create this as text in any text edditer, then make a picture of that text (with prtscrn for instance) and then past it in an picture editor. Make it the correct size and then set this as picture.
