Hi,
I have bought WebsiteX5 Evolution 14 and everytime I start the program it requires me to enter in my license number and avtivate the software in addition to inputing my login credentials for websitex5.com and my administrator password. I am using a poweruser account.
Not only is this inconvenient but a waste of my time. I am seriously thinking of returning your software for a refund. I have software far, far more expensive than websitex5 that DOES NOT require this archaic and time wasting input of data just to start the software! Totally frustrated and unhappy.
Sincerely,
Richard

Richard, does your windows user account have administrator priviledges? If not. . . .
Is it possible to become an administrator and install the software?
When properly installed, WX5 just runs when you double click on the icon.
Please advise.

My user account is a power user so it has limited administrative privilegess. This should be enough to start and run the program. Not a great start to using this software. Makes me feel like a criminal having to re-enter everything over and over and over, plus the program seems to crash a lot. These are my impressions so far and they are disappointing for what I though was a professional piece of software.

I also just noticed when I try to run: Website X5 Update I get the following message:
"It is not possible to run the update program because it is not present a registered copy of Incomedia Website X5"
I purchased this software on January 2nd 2018. I have entered in my registration information I don't know how many times as I have now lost count!!! This is getting to the point of being ridiculous quite frankly! Can someone form Incomedia please help and resolve this.

Why is there no direct way it seems to contact Incomedia for support? I find it very strange that there is no support page, although nice way to save Incomedia money as no time spent supporting your own software certainly will reduce costs.

Now my website is gone and the path in preferences has reverted back to the default!!! I need this website for work!!! How do I reload my website as I havbe put 10's of hours into it!!!
Hi Richard,
The admin prob is a bit of a pain but easy to rectify. You just need to change your user account to admin and run X5, go through the authorisation bit again, close the program and change the user account back to limited again - I don't usually have to restart the profile on either of the changes of user type.
unfortunately your website files will located in the admin profile "documents" folder under "Incomedia" and will need moving or copying to your user accounts documents.
best regards,
Mark.
Richard, Incomedia will directly respond to you here, but they do not work weekends I am sorry. That is why we try to help in the interim.
Hello Richard,
Please follow these steps:
Please check if under C:\Users\ The Admin username \AppData\Local\Incomedia\ there is a folder called WebSite X5 v14 - Evolution and if the licence.iwl file is inside this folder.
If this folder exists and the file is there, copy the folder and paste it under c:\Users\ Your Windows username \AppData\Local\Incomedia and then start the program.
In case this should not help, let me know which windows version you use.
Many thanks!
