Hi to all! I have purchased Proffesional version. I had Evolution. I would like to edit my web in Proffesional. But I did not make an iwzip file, so I can not import my web to the new software. Can I do it somehow?
Thank you.
Jaroslav

Hello Jaroslav
There is maybe still some backup-files in the evolution folder.
If you have some backup-files, then maybe INCOMEDIA ( or someone with evo ) can use these and then create an iwzip for you.
If you find the backup's then make a new post here and ask for help.
If you don't have any backups then it could be difficult.
Kind regards
John S.
You can have parallel installation of your old Evo and your new Pro. So you can make an iwzip with the Evo and import in the Pro.

Hello John,
thank you for your answer. I have all files in my PC, the only one I do not have is iwzip file :-)
I will try to contact someone from Incomedia and try to find a solution.
With best regards,
Jaroslav
Hello Georg,
unfortunately I deleted my EVO software, so I have PRO version.
With best regards,
Jaroslav
Hello Jaroslav,
I think it's possible for you to re-upload your V14 evolution from your profile here
All your licences are available in the menu Licences
Tell me if it's ok for you!

Danielle
Hi Jaroslav,
I think, you can download the Evo here and reinstall. Look into the download section (top right of the Helpcenter) of your profile.
Hope it helps you.
Hello Jaroslav
A suggestion - before you do ANYTHING - make a copy of the whole projectfolder. If you still have access to your evolution then download and install.
I NOW see your evo version on your profile.
Then you should have it to function
Kind regards

Hi Georg and Danielle, thank you for your helps. I have installed EVO, no problem. But I can not open my web page (saved on disc), because after switch IMPORT, there is no IWZIP file. Only the web files. When I used EVO, I made Iwzip file from two web pages but not from third.
You should be able to open the project folder for the "lost" project. If you have deleted this, then you have a problem.

I have all my files in PC (in folder) and also have web on internet. There is no change to open it in Prof version, any file from the folder. I did not make a copy for transfer to other PC/software. And if I use button IMPORT, there can be choose only IWZIP file.
Ji Jaroslav,
Do you have some iwprj2 file in the backup folder of your project like this
Then go the backup folder
and try to copy the most recent iwprj2 file in the source folder of your project and you rename it.
See the post where JiPé gave the process :
https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/it/post/183124
Good luck,
Danielle
Jaroslav,
you reinstalled the Evo. Is it the version (according to your profile it should be Evo 12?) you created your projects with? If you start the Evo, do you see your projects? If not, may be you changed the default project path?
If you see your projects you should be able to open them. If not: as you said you have all your projects on your PC. Can you make a sreenshot of the explorerview showing your project path and content?

That does'nt help, Jaroslav
Hi Jaroslav,
like the other users have mentioned, you should first try to restore your projects in WebSite X5 12 so you can export it as an iwzip and import it in v14.
To do so, you first need to go under the path you have set under Preferences and see if you can find your project files. The default path is C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\Incomedia\WebSite X5 v12- Evolution . Once found the correct path, you have to make sure that you can find the Backup folder, and that some iwprj files are stored there.
If you find them, you can follow this procedure: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/it/post/47713
Once you have restored your project in v12, you have to go to Step 5 and export it with the Option "Export the Project". This will generate an iwzip file, which you can then import in v14.
Please let me know if you can solve the issue. Kind regards.
