I wanted to upload my site map onto the google console but cannot see how to do this. Is it possible to export the site map?

you can upload the sitemap.xml in the google search console

How do I do this? I can't see anywhere a button where the sitemap gets uploaded.

Never mind I found it on my hard drive in the Incomedia file.
In the old search console under "Crawl" - "Sitemaps", there is a button in the upper right corner "ADD/TEST SITEMAP"
And in the new search console under Sitemaps.
Also you can update the sitemap.xml from X5 5-Export after uploading your site to the internet
