Hi,
Why does not https work?
Postato il
Erik, have you upgraded your hosting to https (SSL certificate)?
If not, you will need to contact your host or purchase a 3rd party SSL certificate and have it installed by your host. In the meantime you can only use http://
Erik,
Looks like it works, I can enter the https site. If you mean Eribo.
X5 keeps asking for correct adress, don't worry, just set the https and ignore the message of x5.
But a small tip create an .htacces file with a rerouting to the https site.
Check the FAQ of your provider they should have an example for you how to do this.
@ Incomedia,
Can you check this, I have this issue also, x5 keeps calling the adress on step 1 wrong when exporting changes to the webserver if used for https.
And yes the site is https.

Hello everyone.
Are you sure this is happening with every website under this condition? I've tested exporting a website with https set in step 1, and I got no error message whatsoever. I'm using subfolders even.
Maybe there's a correlation between these URL being marked as incorrect, but I haven't been able to reproduce this, even on user's projects.
Please let me know if you discover anything else on this
Thank you
Stefano
Hello Stafano
I have it on multiple projects in 1 test on evo and 2 normal projects in pro.
But with the same provider. I think it has something to do with the provider. And the build up of there use of webspace.
I would be happy to give you the test project, I only hope that you can connect from outside the Netherlands, sometimes this is closed by provider for security.
Best Regards
PS that's also why I mentioned to Erik to leave it, the site works good anyway. But it is anoying.
THX!
Erik,
Following Esach's advice, please see my last comment in https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/it/post/184491
... in French and for a french provider, but may be it will help you to make your site in https!
For any further detail do not hesitate to come back here.
Good luck.
