I put a gallery object on a page of my website . I add shadow on the image of this gallery(see attached picture) and when I uploaded the page there was no shadow on the image but only on the image of the shadow box (when you klik the image on my site)
Following there is a link to the page of my website with the problem.

How can I put shadow on the image on my website?

Hello Nassos,
It seems that you have enabled to prevent this image to be copied. If you did so so nobody can copy or download your image.
If you want to put shadow on image then simply add an image block and then edit it>there you will get an option called effects>from there you can put shadow.
If you want to create an image gallery and want to put shadow on each image then simply add an gallery>Then insert photos>Then edit each photos and do the same as before to put the shadow.
If you have any query regarding this, keep posting
Thank you

Hallo ANI,
I disabled the image copied button. Even I cannot understand why that should be a problem for the no shadowed images...
I created an image gallery > add a shadow on image 1396 as you can see at the attached photo > upload the site.
As you can see at the following link there is no shadow at the image , but if you will klik on this image you can see that THERE IS a shadow of this image at the showbox!

Please inform me if there is anything that I can do in order to have shadow for this picture not only at the showbox but also at the page of my site.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Try the following
Rename your photo from your image>Now open website x5>Then go to that page where the image is>Now delete the image gallery object from tha page>Now again insert a photo gallery>Then insert the renamed photo>Now put the shadow on the image>Then save it
Try this. If the problem happens again keep posting.
Thank you

Hello,
I tried to rename the image and put it in a new gallery but the problem is not solved.
Anyway thank you for your interest.

I copied your image, made the background transparent and saved as png. I then placed it into both a image object and a gallery object, both worked as expected when I selected edit, effects, drop shadow.
In the link I selected show box, and this also worked as expected (although no drop shadow).
Please check that you are not using a gif (if so, convert to png) and that the image you are using is roughly the size required for display on the website (ie. there is little point of a 1500px wide image when displaying in a cell that is never more that 320px wide) and WX5 seems to have some difficulties with resampling "on the fly" (hence the need for optimizer).
You may also wish to try the image object rather than the gallery object since you appear to be only displaying one image.

Hello Esahc,
Thank you for your advice.
The picture I use (1396.png) is a png file as you can see at the attached picture from my second post. The size of this picture is 377x452 pixels (226 kb). I also tried with two more pictures , one 280 x 400pixels and one with 305x314 pixels and did not work too. (for each of these items there is a shadow within the show box!!! )
What I want is just a picture with shadow on my page and a showbox with this picture after a klik on the picture.
Unfortunately I think that I cannot do this with the image object. If there is a way please inform me.
The only way I found to do this , is to create a one picture gallery.
I guess this is a software problem because it is weird the shadow to be appeared only within the showbox and not on the page! There are more problems with the software (for example with the advertising corner) but at the moment I am trying to find a solution with the shadow of the image.
Thank you for your interest.

Hi Nassos.
I might be misunderstanding some of the steps, because I'm unable to understand exactly why you would choose to make a one picture gallery instead of using the image object.
Check my screenshots:
Now, I can confirm that the ShowBox won't show the dropdown shadow, as it is not possible to apply that inside the ShowBox's gallery, but I believe using a simple Image Object got me the desired effect without having to create a single picture Object gallery.
Let me know what you think, or if I misunderstood the issue
Thank you

Hello Stefano,
Thank you very much for your help.
Obviously I did not see the option of the Showbox at the Image Object. It would be better if I could put a shadow within the showbox too, but it's OK (I would put white shadow for my products).
Nevertheless I believe that the shadow issue for the Gallery Object exists and I hope that will be solved within the next update of the software.
One more issue that I have is with the advertising corner.
I put an adverising Corner on my website.
When I change the effect of the object (see attached picture below) the software accept the new adjustment(From 1-29) . If I upload the site with the new adjustment , the new adjastment is online.
The problem is when I close the software (and saved it of course).
Everytime I open the software the effect adjustment switches to "7-Swing" itself !
I hope that is something like the shadow issue that I do not saw.
Please inform me about it.
Once again thank you.
