Pre-purchase Check 
Autore: Paul J.I am looking at purchasing the full version of Evolution and I would like to clarify some things first. : )
I understand that the program is able to be used off line to construct my website and this is an advantage compared to on line packages eg "Wix" because I can make a backup of my site and restore it in the event of problems. True?
Secondly I understand that it is a one off payment for the program & updates are guaranteed for 12months. Is that the life of the program then... or will other updates still be available for some period of time outside of 12months?
Thirdly with regard to purchasing additional plugins through "market place" eg " Audio Player" do you own the plugin with a one off payment as you do with the program for the useable life of the program or are they on a subscription basis? Also... with regard to "Audioplayer" is this a HTML5 based plugin that is recognisable by all the current browsers and does it have a fall back to "flash" if someone is using an older browser still? Additionally... is there a way to input html code within "Evolution" or via a buyable plugin in your "Marketplace" ??

Paul, yes WX5 can run offline, but for convenience it is normally used online. However, the source is held locally on your PC. With WX5 it is very easy to use any host. There is an automatic backup but also a far more useful export function than creates a file which can be imported into another PC if required.
The payment is one off, the version you purchase and any versions or updates released during your 12month update protection are yours to keep and use forever. After 12 months you can choose to purchase more protection (there is normally a discount period) or simply keep using what you have. Updates are not available if you do not have current update protection.
Anything purchased on the marketplace is also yours to use forever, and if a new version of WX5 is released you are welcome to use these optional products in them as well. To the best of my knowledge everything is html5, but there is no longer support for flash (I am hopeful someone will correct me if this statement is incorrect)
Yes HTML code can be easily used, there is an object specifically for html, html can be added to text objects and there is provision for embedding code in headers, etc.
Please download the trial and have a play https://www.websitex5.com/en/pricing.php but be warned, if you intend to purchase evolution, then make sure you download the evolution trial (evolution cannot read professional projects).

I have been using WebsiteX5 for years and am very pleased with it. Personally I have always found the professional version to be worth the extra. But it's hourses for courses. I believe evolution sites can be read in professional but not vice-versa.
