Incomedia server failure, update protection  en

On Saturday afternoon, the helpcenter didn't work until the evening and the program could not connect to the Incomedia server (all its versions). In addition to asking for clarification of this problem and the inconveniences (for example, I could not run all the free templates that I had not used before - this is my old request that Incomedia allows them to download to disk after installation, not just as they will be needed), I have other thoughts about the program.
Apparently buying a program I have the lifetime license. However, it turns out that when Incomedia's server falls, your comapny will be acquired by another company with programm off, server failures, hacker attack and other similar programs will work in a limited functionality (without most free templates) and only until the system is reinstalled, because even if you have a setup file on the disk, without activating on Incomedia servers the program will not "run", your additional objects and patterns will not be available. I will not mention about credits bought and saved virtually on your servers.
The question then is how Incomedia intends to allow use of the license without time-limit, since without Incomedia (or rather its servers), the programm is functionally limited and may stop working at any time. It seems to me that you should allow access to additional facilities purchased on a similar way as paid templates (which are downloaded as a file to be run). I assume that it would also be useful to installs that will be able to run without connecting to the server, only with valid licence codes but this may be issued at the time of closing Incomedia (or not - I don't know).

Soon my update protection will end so what I need it for? From many years Polish users ask for any payment system implemented in Website x5  (e.g. payu, tpay, dotpay, przelewy24), everybody for cms and instant digital downloads and there is nothing...

Without it your shop is useless...

I would like to know what is your plans and schedule for the next year if I have to pay for unknown, that means only repair of your own errors...

Before everything was clear - one version one year and every errors found even two years after buying the programm were repair for free.

Hi Andrzej,

thank you for your message.

Please consider that WebSite X5 licence will not expire. It is not limited in time or functionalities, and the only thing that does expire is Update Protection. This is not the program itself, but a related service thanks to which you have received version 15 and 16 for free. You can decide if you want to extend the service or not. In this second case, your licence will still be active, and there will be not limitations in its functionalities.

For any issue which you have unfortunately experienced, you can create new posts so to provide us with more information: in this way, we will be able to help you find a solution.

Thank you. Have a lovely day.

IT IS LIMITED BY INCOMEDIA SERVER - WHEN IT'S GONE THERE IS NO WAY FOR ACTIVATION (LIKE ON SATURDAY - LIMITED IN TIME) AND FUNCTIONALITIES (LIKE ON SATURDAY, WHEN THERE WERE NO WAY TO DOWNLOAD FREE TEMPLATES WHICH WEREN'T USED BEFORE).

So I would like to be sure that I can use it even Incomedia bancrupts or in other way and I would like to use all templates you promised in your offer all the time.

About update protection if you don't present any plan for the nearest future it is like buying a pig in a poke...

Hi everyone,

I join the question. Will it be possible to install the websitex5 application on the computer when the Incomedia servers are disabled? e.g. in the event of a company's bankruptcy?

Regards
