I made them my website www.kc-hosanna.nl with website x5 evolution v. 16.3.1. The website is optimized for display on a PC, making the display on PCs as mobile devices the same. Both on my desktop and on my mobile devices, the website looks the same. Yesterday I installed website x5 evolution v. 17.0.4 and imported the project from v.16.3.1. Then I uploaded the project to the internet. Then it appeared that the display of the website on my mobile devices no longer looked good. (see attachment) On my desktop it looks still good. That is why I have brought my website back to version 16.3.1. My question is therefore how this is possible. I can not use version 17 in this way

17.06 is available in the download section here in answers, top right next to your name -> download.
I don't know why x5 at startup does not say anything, a bug as well?
Try it.

I have installed version 17.06 but het problem still excist only on my Ipad 2 with IOS 9.3.5. Not on mobile phone with android and also not on my windows PC.
I think Incomedia needs to check this, i will set this post for them to respond.
Thanks Aat.
I have the same problem. After installing 17.0.4 and 17.0.6, my websites are screwed up on my mobile devices like my Ipad 2.
At V16 it worked very well. Now I've seen in another post that the IOS version on older Ipad's can't cope with X5 V17 ? If that is the case, why did Incomedia sold me V17 with upgrade protection in the first place, without any warning about possible issues!?
What is the solution to this?
Regards,
Hans.
Hello everyone
I can confirm that the latest Grid CSS technology might not be supported by older browsers.
This of course can affect iOS devices more than Android ones, since Apple tends not to update their older browser as often as other browsers normally are.
In particular, Grid CSS support was introduces in Safari for iOS from Safari v10.3. An older version of the browser won't work, but other more up to date browsers on the same device should. Should this not be the case, please report the version of those browsers here to me too. Perhaps there is some other issue going on instead.
I hope I made the matter a little clearer
Thank you
Stefano

Does this mean that website 16.3.1 is the last version that will support IOS 9.3.5
Hi Aat.
As long as the default engine used by the software remains the same, it will most probably be so.
Since the older browsers do not support the newest technologies such as CSS Grid which the software now uses, their companies will probably never provide compatibility for that, meaning they won't even be able to support such code.
I hope I made the matter clearer
