Do I still need PHP editor to edit some pages? such as the validation email message taht is sent to customer

Salam, the reason I use WX5 is because I do not wish to use either html or php, I have never needed such an editor.
You can use any editor to create php and html code and then paste text or HTML code into the object.

How do you change the appearance of the registartion or logging page for locked pages then . . .

It is possible to change the page that users will see. BUT - it requires that something ( only one line ) in the system has to be changed, and therefore it will be overwritten by an update. It will function in all versions before the actual version.

Here is an example how you can tweak the system so it behaves as you wish - but again - not suitable for an ongoing version.
