SliceBox Preview  en

After adding my images for the slicebox, the preview section is only showing me the sample images. That is irritating as I can only see the images I added when I click the preview button.

Hello Errol,

Can you explain in more detail what you mean?  I've just tested the SliceBox in a new project and can find no fault with its functionality.

Do you mean that the little Preview window in the Slicebox properties doesn't show the corresponding image when you click on an image in the Images list?  I think that particular Preview is intended to display the 'slice effect' rather than each individual image.

Nonetheless I'll ask Incomedia for their comments.

Kind regards,

Paul

What you stated is exactly the case. The preview is only showing the effect but with it's on images and not images I want.

I know exactly what you mean now, thanks Errol.

I think that behaviour is by design, but we'll see what Incomedia have to say about it when they respond to the thread.  Please allow them 24/48 hours to do so.

Good day Errol

Unfortunately, there is little to be added here.

As indicated by Paul as well, the little preview is used exclusively to display the effect you're going to get.

This should in general not be too much of an issue since I believe it is much better to analyze the final result in the final preview, as to get a general view of the look of the effect once in the context of the full page.

This can be done easily by making use of the normal preview.

In any case, this has been suggested several times already as a possible improvement for more than just the Slicebox Object but there's unfortunately still no news on this

I thank you anyway for your interest and your idea for such improvement, which I will proceed to report again

Thank you

Stefano
