In the FOOTER, when I insert the TEXT OBJECT - can I change the background color of that particular TEXT OBJECT (not just the background of the text but the whole TEXT OBJECT background...)?
For example:
My FOOTER has a dark-grey background, but I want that a certain TEXT OBJECT inside the FOOTER has a light-grey background... is this doable? (asks he naively )
Thank you!

Use the table object. Make it 1 row and 1 column.
1 disadvantage, it's not so good in responsive (test this), best is to make an table object for every footer viewport if it does not work as you wish.
You can remove the borders completly if needed or set them same colour as background, any way with the table object you can do more in some cases.
It can be easily done with the hoover button object. The hoover button object gives you the option to include text, font size, font color, button size, button background color, and link in the text.

Thank you very much - I'll have in mind your "table solution" - but, again and again, it's the shame that TEXT OBJECT has no such option!
@ LHNET SW
Thank you - I think I'll go with the hover button - it seems like the most "painless solution".

Hover button has to have a link in it - I do not want to have the link in that element.
So, the table element is the only "solution" for this...
Best!
Thanks for the feedback.
And yes x5 can do a lot but also there is a lot that can be better, luckely x5 progresses, i have been around from v5, so i have seen a lot not at big speeds but still a lot got better.
And mostly there are workarounds and possibilities for custom code, so on average it's doing a very good job, but there is always room for approvement i totally agree.

I have bought the WSX5 licence for my company ONLY for the e-commerce part.
So, (if the Incomedia's marketing dept. reading this - they should pay attention)- I won't be buying another web design software if not for the e-commerce part!
But instead of using that fact and gaining many more users (I know I'm not the only one who did that because of the web-shop design part) - Incomedia is neglecting the e-commerce part completely!
I have written - at least - 30 posts about the e-commerce improvements - not because I like to write and have nothing better to do - but because I cannot finish my web-shop even today (the only reason for buying this program in the first place).
Yeah, I hope they will react and improve that part too - but I have already lost 5 months in this "idle" state...
Hello Sinisa, Users ..
On one e-commerce part I will can help on the custom payment interface !!
it's nice part for some users which does not want use Paypal or cannot) or already pre-configured payment gateways which are not really marked needs..
It's a WSX5 weaknees to provide just few payment gateways
So I am almost ready to announce that I have one external gateway ready for you...
2 bugs have been discovered on this WSX5 option (Stefano knows these, and again to him thanks for his help)
Follow me.. a next payment plugin will be bornt in few days.
Enjoy !

Sinisa, it is true that WX5 has some shortcomings, and I hope that the few dozen users who have very specific e-commerce needs will soon have their specific requirements met ( perhaps an e-commerce Pro version to add to the go, Evo and pro versions currently available).
But surely you must admit that no other platform offers the level of support you have received here. Not just how to do something, but also how to do more than the software was ever designed to accomodate through work-arounds and 3rd party code.
WX5 both frustrates and empowers me to meet my clients requirements.
Have a great day.

Yes, Hover button has to have a link in it - But just choose the text/warning message as an option and type the name of the web page only. A link to a URL is not necessary.
Here an example:
https://pieltersa.com/
Please keep in mind this URL example is temporary. Later it will be a complete website.
Try it!

Thank you, man!
BTW-you probably missed this in my e-mail > In your payment gateway - do we have to have the account open in that particular bank?
Cheers!

How did you do that? With what object?
Thank you for your time!
(It > En) ... I put an Image Object and a Text Object; ... then I moved the Text Object over the image ...
... (in my case two texts) ...
... if you need to adjust the level, you can use the tool: Bring to Front - Send to Back
