In this version the auto email with link for digital product seems fixed in this version.
Can you confim too that this email is sent with custom payment ?
Like you have my wsx5demo project you can test both

Unfortunately, no. The logic which allows the integrated PayPal functionality to work with instant delivery is hardcoded for PayPal only. It would require a big change in the way payment is handled in order to allow this as well
I have informed the developers of this. Unfortunately, it seems like no change was made for now and it might take a while to see something like this done

You offer an option (auto link for digital product) and you offer possibility to ceate some own payments.
But I cannot use a standard option (automatic link) from the software if I customize my payment. !!!!!
It's not really conform with the software bought... All options need to work
And nowhere in the product or documentation this restriction is specified... the auto link optionfor digital product is not in the payment tab !!!!!!
In this case custom payments is not useful
I don't accept your answer.
If it's harcoded today, the dev team needs to to the maximum to offer this one for custom payments
Pls put the pressure on this with your management team...
I consider this one is again a blocking BUG.... and develop a custom payment for just one website category is very restrictive.

I can understand the frustration about the fact that this option is available for PayPal
This was communicated as well when the feature was first released in November 2018 and is, as of now, still the only possibility:

Since every payment system works in a different way, it would be very difficult to build a system that can achieve this no matter what type of payment system is added.
That being said, I will still report this so that the possibility can someday be extended to other payment methods as well

but other solutions have this option running fine !
With website it's an option blocked on one parameter.... not useful for all !
So definitively this option will not be never available.... because ....
- Many years to change some settings into the cart !!!! searching and again a new look a feel..... and nothing to reverse 2 lines into the cart or to have some TVA options....
- Many years to change some security issues regarding RGPD !!!! and not all !!!
- No backoffice to manage eCommerce...
And customers wishes are not Incomedia priorities.
It's a pity.. Probably you will lost some customers because Website is very nice to develop websites... but not eCommerce websites.....You are not expert on this domain
