After the new update 2020.2 the preview on images and editing is not working.
Please fix it soon.

Hello.Yes.You're right.To see a preview of the picture and edit it, you first need to save the project, close the object, and then open it again.

I can confirm that this issue is in fact known.
The developers are currently already working on this so that it might be fixed promptly
