.htaccess provokes internal server error

With the last V2020.2.5 update the .htaccess file generated by Website X5 pro provokes “Internal Server Error”. In substance the uploaded website becomes inaccessible except one eliminates the file. This issue needs to be addressed immediately. The effect is a huge damage on the image of the firm and loss of clients.

It is likely that there is some other reason for the 'Internal Server Error' message.
There are many sites already running on version 2020.2.5 without issue, including my own support site.
Do you have any other code in your .htaccess file? Even a single misplaced or wrong additional character could cause the symptom you describe.
