I went to open my site and several times got the same message
An Error Occured The Requested Operation Can't Be Performed On A File With A User Mapped Section Open
I have no idea what that means or how to solve the problem - any help please?

Hello Adam,
It probably means that your antivirus or firewall (could be software or hardware) are interfering with WebSite X5's operation.
Try temporarily disabling any such items to see if the issue disappears. If it does then you can add WebSite X5 as an 'exception' to the whitelist of the package in question.
