Beta version 2022.1.5 error with Logo Slider  en

After updating to version 2022.1.5, the content of the Logo Slider in my footer is no longer shown. I do see the slider in the preview.

If it is visible on preview but not online you may simply need to flush the cache in your browser (CTRL+F5). If this fails, CTRL+preview locally and then a full upload (not new and changed) should resolve it.

If this is a live website i have found it unwise to use beta software. Better to only upload with released versions.

No longer working in preview?

Have you checked that all optional objects are up to date (especially logo slider) by clicking manage and then update?

If you continue to have issues you may need to revert to the current version assuming you have an iwzip from back then.

I have marked your post for attention by Incomedia in case this turns out to be an issue with the beta version.

Using Website X5 hosting pro (kees-w.websitex5.me) there are no problems.

The problem arises when using a different hoster (kennemerrand.nl).

Until version 2022.1.4 there was no problem with an other hoster.

Please export the project as IWZIP in Step 5 and send it over to me

You can use  the service https://wetransfer.com/

Select the link generation and paste it here, so I can download the file. If the file is too big, please don't include the folders preview and backup files when you create your IWZIP file with WebSite X5.

It is not working yet.

You can download the iwzip-file from my Dropbox with the following link:

The uploaded project is available on:

and

https://kennemerrand.nl/test

in the last one you can see that the logo slider is not available on the footer.

Using Database viewer gives the error: "An error occured while communicating to the server".

Hello Stefano,

I think I found the problem.

When I upload my project to the root kennemerrand.nl everything works fine.

But when I upload the project to kennemerrand.nl/svkr the problem arises.

Logo Slider and Database viewer are not working.

In the past, until version 2022.1.4, everything worked properly.

Can this error be fixed in Website X5 version 2022.1.5?

I've downloaded the project. I wanted to test it out directly on your hosting space, but it seems like I can't connect to it. Perhaps a filter is in place that won't let me connect from a different country of IP?

In any case, I tested the project on different hosting, not one of ours. The Logo slider seems to be working just fine.

I can see that on kennemerrand.nl/svkr you now have a project in 2022.1.4 again. Would it be possible for you to try and upload v2022.1.5 again online so that I might test it?

This way, I could verify the issue in a more in-depth way

I was able to verify the issue

It is caused by a change in v2022.1.5 and only affects websites in subfolders. We're currently working to solve the situation promptly.
