I complete changes to my website X5 Pro 16
All uploads without error, but the changes do not appear until i enter a menu and make a selection. then on returning Home the changes have appeared
Postato il
The old pages were probably in the browser cache and were displayed in the browser from there. Later, the pages were loaded from the web space.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. Sorry, I should have said this issues persists on restarting the browser
Also when uploading I chose complete website instead of changes only
And if the browser cache is cleared, does the problem persist?
There are instructions on Google and Youtube on how to clear the browser cache.
Is this die new website?

yes Daniel, BTW i had cleared the Browser Cache before asking for help. Thanks again for your help
Hi Alan,
thank you for getting in touch.
Please delete the files which are currently online, then export the whole project again and, after the website is back online, clear the browser cache: can you see the changes you applied now?
Thanks! Kind regards.

Elisa, I have done this, deleted the public_html folder contents and uploaded the complete correctly functioning local website copy. Cleared the cache, No change in the problem

i can see this:
The "Home Page" in the menu above is incorrectly linked.
......./php.php
That should be the reason that the desired start page is not displayed.
Take a screenshot of the "Home Page" in the WebSite X5 preview window and post it in the forum so that we in the forum can see what should normally be displayed and maybe there are errors in the screenshot.

Home page;
In the preview window it shows as php.html
online it shows as php.php
Normally, the "home page" should be called index.html or index.php so that it is displayed when the web address is called up in the browser.

I have an index.php file i can see in filezilla
there is also a php.php file
if i delete the php.php file using filezilla the Home page button errors looking for php.php when it should go to index.php
A) Mark 1 and click 2
B) Mark 1 and at 2 rename from php to index
After making the change, hold down the left Ctrl key and click on Preview and wait until the green progress bar has completely run through. Then export the entire website to the Internet.

im on X5 Pro V16 looks different to your example, i will look to try and find the pages you show

OK, done that, thanks for your advice
I still see my Home Page as php.html in the preview window
when i open the website online it say Not Secure
when i go to www.cyclewight.org.uk and click on Home it still says /php.php
I dont know what else to do
Old WebSite X5 Evo 13
A)
B)
Did you click OK after making the change? Has the change been saved?
Would the change be exported to the web?
Possibly exit and restart the program. Also restart Windows.
There is no forwarding from HTTP to HTTPS.
Maybe the .htaccess file was accidentally deleted on the web space?
